In 1993, twenty-one various species of birds owned me. Since I was very active in aviculture, I knew I wasn't the only person to love and care for birds and have so many. Needless to say going away was not easy.

Many of my friends also had birds so we would trade off with bird sitting. Thus the idea of bird sitting for others as a business came into being and Under My Wings was "hatched".

To my surprise many people that had birds also had dogs and cats. Frequently I would get calls to care for our four legged furry friends. I started the service part time in 1994 and in less than a year went full time to include all pets. Give us a call, your pet(s) and home will be in good hands!
